Also very rarely called Myla Jill Leslie. I was born in the Philippines in 1985. I spent my childhood drawing Disney characters at the back of my school notebooks. Besides wanting to grow up to be an astronaut, I also wanted to become an animator.
I taught myself how to draw portraits using charcoal pencils in highschool and even back then, I’ve had this strange addiction to drawing girls that I haven’t been able to shake off. Although I didn’t follow the logical route of illustration through college, I was determined to carve out my little career in the arts. I taught myself how to paint digitally at the age of twenty one and immediately started working on different freelance projects, then later on working for Boomzap as a Junior Artist. Not long after I was able to scratch that off and put Senior Artist under my name.
I hope to continue making and sharing my art whenever I can, and learning more along the way.
